My name is Ana, and I'm the creator and mad genius behind AnaBanana's Bath and Body Treats. Well, maybe genius is a bit strong, unless of course you think in terms of Wile E. Coyote, Super Genius. I'm there! Although none of my disasters have quite the spectacle of Wile E's, they've certainly been interesting and unpredictable!
I grew up in the Midwest and moved to the Rocky's in Wyoming many years ago. Well, not THAT many years ago, considering I'm still 29 and holding, but I digress. The Midwest, for those of us who grew up there, visited, are still living there, has an entirely different climate than the Rocky's and Wyoming in it's glorious extremes. I was so not ready for it. I mean, sure, I knew it'd be drier here, but knowing something and experiencing it is something else. It's dry here. Like really, really dry. Very. Dry.
My skin told me about the dry. It creaked. It cracked. It protested overmuch, me thinks, as it made pitiful squeaky dry noises. "Give me water! I need Water, I say!" And I tried. Really! I drank extra water even before it was popular to drink 8 gallons of water a day. I used lotions and creams. I used cheap lotions and creams. I used expensive lotions and creams. I tried stuff that boasted it's healing and moisturizing qualities. And still, my skin was so not happy.
In self defense, with a strong sense of self-preservation, I decided I'd have to take things into my own hands. And so I started to read and experiment and learn from my mistakes and learn from my successes (which I hope have outnumbered my catastrophes by now), and after more years than I'm willing to claim, I've managed to collect my successes and created AnaBanana's Bath and Body Treats so I can share the same goods I've created for myself and my family, with you!
I hope you'll enjoy my products as much as I do! Thanks for checking out my web site, too! It's still under construction, and new pictures and products are coming soon, so please come back and keep checking out what we've got goin' on here!
Oh, I took that picture on a drive not far from my back door. I look at the Wyoming "sticks" and always think of John Wayne movies, as in, wouldn't it be a great site to have a John Wayne movie filmed here? It would, too! It's beautiful beyond description here.
Ana lives in a desert in the Big Horn Basin of Wyoming with her husband, a ginger-headed daughter, a son, and stinky dog Ana loves creating stuff and sharing her creations. Alas, she's not so great at writing in third person. Ah, well...
