Today I've been working on a formula for a new lip treat using coffee oil. There are four different recipes here ~ mostly I just fiddled with the flavor part and left the base alone. There is no added color to this lip treat ~ the color you see here is from the coffee oil and butter. Both are intense at full strength but super nice in these test recipes. In some of the test batches I used a coffee flavor, one has a vanilla flavor added, one is not sweetened. I'm beta testing these puppies now, and hopefully I'll have them out by the beginning of August. Look for them here on the "Lips" page or on my FaceBook store page at https://www.facebook.com/pages/AnaBananas-Bath-Body-Treats/233375826703783?sk=app_135607783795
I've been wanting and waiting to make this fragrance for quite a long time. Now that it's done, I'm kicking myself for waiting so long!! It smells amazing. A-mazing! Truly! I love mints ~ all of 'em. Spearmint, peppermint, catnip, and even the feral dog mint we get out here in Wyoming smells good to me. And lime is always fresh and uplifting to my nose and spirit. The combination is fabulous!
Coconut milk is some super amazing stuff too. I cook with it. I make soap with it. In soaps, it's super moisturizing and has the creamiest lather. I love it.
I also threw in some French green clay to both color my soap and anchor the essential oils, and it adds a silky feel to the slide of this soap. I think you'll like it!
You can pre-order this soap now. It'll ship out July 21. You won't regret it!! I'll definitely be keeping this one on hand, so order as much as you like!
Ciao for now!
Ana lives in a desert in the Big Horn Basin of Wyoming with her husband and three of her five children, all of whom alternately drive her nuts and keep her sane. She allows cats to come and go (mostly she allows them to come and her husband allows them to go) as they please. Sometimes they'll have other farm-type animals show up too. Ana loves creating stuff and sharing her creations. Alas, she's not so great at writing in third person. Ah, well...
